Camping at Volume X Festival 2027

From 17 to 20 June 2027, Kragelund will once again become your festival home. To ensure a relaxed start to your weekend, here you will find all important information regarding camping, arrival, on-site provisions and departure.

Camping check-in times

• Thursday, 17 June 2027, from 15:00: Arrival with Pre-Camping ticket
• Friday, 18 June 2027: Regular arrival with Weekend + Camping ticket
• Saturday, 19 June 2027: Last chance to arrive

We will announce the exact time slots well before the festival.

During these time slots, newcomers can enter the campsite and receive their festival wristband directly at check-in.

🎫 Once you have your festival wristband, you can leave and re-enter the campsite at any time. Please expect security checks – these are solely for your safety.

⛺ The festival grounds are located directly next to the campsite. Depending on where you set up your camp, you will walk a maximum of about 8 minutes to the entrance.

Vehicles on the campsite

You can bring your vehicle directly onto the campsite. Allowed are:

• Cars
• Motorhomes & caravans
• Trailers

A vehicle sticker is required for each vehicle – including trailers or caravans. Trucks and corresponding trailers are prohibited or only allowed by prior arrangement.

📌 Example: Car + trailer = 2 vehicle stickers. Vehicle stickers can be conveniently purchased in the ticket shop.

Alternatives without a vehicle on the campsite

If you wish to stay on the campsite without a vehicle, you have the following options:

• Park your vehicle in the day visitor car park (€5 per vehicle, cash payment on site)
• Get dropped off directly in front of the camping check-in
• Arrive on foot with a tent

⚠️ Please do not park vehicles on the roadside. Access roads must remain clear at all times.

What you need at camping check-in

Please have the following ready to ensure the quickest possible entry:

• ✅ Weekend + Camping ticket
• ✅ ID card or passport
• ✅ Minimum age: 18 years (no exceptions)
• ✅ For Thursday arrival: Pre-Camping ticket
• ✅ For arrival by vehicle: vehicle sticker
• ✅ €10 waste deposit per person in cash (exact change if possible, please)

Waste deposit

A waste deposit of €10 per person is collected at camping check-in. In return, you receive:

• a deposit token
• a free rubbish bag

♻️ On departure, you return your filled rubbish bag together with the deposit token at the camping check-in and get your €10 back.

👉 The exact return times can be found on the info flyer on site and at the camping check-in.

Space on the campsite

On the campsite you will party and live together with around 3,000 campers. To make sure everyone has enough space, we ask you to be fair to each other.

• Only use the space you really need
• Reserving space for others is only possible to a limited extent
• Arrive together if you want to camp together
• Exception: reserved friends camps

Sanitary facilities

Toilets: 🚻 Free portable toilets are spread across the entire campsite. 🚽 In addition, there is a free toilet trailer towards the festival entrance this year.

Showers:

• Freshly modernised shower facilities
• Use: €5
• Payment via the cashless wristband
• Location: towards the festival entrance

🍻 Beer garden

Right next to the showers you will find our beer garden – in cooperation with Maisel's Weisse and Getränke Tadsen. Look forward to:

• 🇩🇪 Lovingly decorated Bavarian ambience
• 🪑 Around 140 seats
• 🍺 Drinks in glasses served at your table
• 🥨 Matching snacks & food to go with the Bavarian vibe

Beer taps on the campsite

Spread across the campsite you will find several beer taps that can be activated by card payment. 👉 Please bring your own cup.

Breakfast on the campsite ☕

On Friday and Saturday mornings you can get freshly made rolls, hot coffee or an ice-cold Red Bull at the breakfast stand. ☕🥪🥤 The stand is located right next to the showers – so you can do everything in one go: toilet, shower, breakfast and the first beer of the day. 🍻😄

What is allowed – and what is not?

🚫 No glass bottles

Glass bottles are strictly prohibited on the entire campsite. This protects you from injuries, makes cleaning easier and avoids broken glass on the areas used by animals outside the festival.

🔥 Barbecuing

Barbecuing is allowed daily from 11:00 to 22:00. ⚠️ In case of extreme drought or high risk of wildfire, barbecuing may be restricted or prohibited at short notice.

⚡ Power generators

Generators up to a maximum of 2.5 kW are allowed. ❗ The generator and a suitable fire extinguisher must be shown at the entrance check.

🔊 Sound systems

• ✅ Battery-powered Bluetooth speakers are allowed
• ❌ PA systems are prohibited

From 05:00 in the morning, please keep the music at room volume or switch it off. From around 08:00 you may slowly turn it up again!

📦 Bulky items

A deposit of €20 is charged for bulky items such as sofas, pallets or similar. You get the deposit back as soon as the item is removed from the site.

🚽 Own portable toilets

Your own portable toilets are not allowed. If you want your own toilet in your camp, please order one in the ticket shop.

🚁 Drones

Drones are strictly prohibited on the entire festival and camping grounds.

🎊 No confetti

Confetti made of plastic or PVC is strictly prohibited on the entire site. Such material can hardly be removed completely after the festival, massively harms the environment and endangers the animals that live on the paddock for the rest of the year. ⚠️ Deliberate use of plastic or PVC confetti can lead to exclusion from the entire event.

❌ Prohibited items

Not allowed are:

• Drugs & illegal substances
• Weapons of any kind
• Pets
• Own drinks & food on the festival grounds (allowed on the campsite)

Departure

Departure is possible at any time – but no later than Sunday at 19:00. If you are not fit to drive afterwards, that is no problem:

• ✅ Simply report to the info point
• ✅ Leave your vehicle where it is
• ✅ Get picked up safely

We continue dismantling for several days after the festival. Vehicles can then be collected daily between 08:00 and 19:00. ⚠️ Please no night-time collections – the site is monitored and this could trigger an alarm.
